Music
“Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.” Psalm 147:1
Again and again in Holy Scripture, we are taught that music that is offered to God as worship binds us together in the Holy Spirit and is of the utmost importance for all believers; indeed, in Colossians 3:16, the Apostle Paul exhorts the church: “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
At Trinity Anglican Church, we are seeking to build a music ministry that encompasses all ages and musical experience. . . as well as to encourage those who have a heart and gift for music to offer them to the glory of God, so that the whole church may be blessed! Whether you feel led to join a choir, offer instrumental music, or to simply sing with joy and strength as part of the “congregational choir”, your participation in music at Trinity is greatly encouraged and warmly welcomed!
