Anglican Adventurers Tour Local Plantation

An energetic group of Anglican Adventurers recently toured the beautiful grounds and buildings of a local plantation here in Thomasville. This was a real treat to see an authentic working plantation up close. Highlights of the visit included touring the stables where the horses are kept, along with the hunting wagons and carriages; seeing the kennels that can house over 40 hunting dogs; and walking the immaculate grounds and pathways. The biggest delight was touring the unique interior gardens of the "the big house" and enjoying lunch in the massive dining room. The group was escorted by Chris George who lives on the plantation and, along with his wife Crystal, is a member at Trinity.

This opportunity was a wonderful example of South Georgia plantation life at it's finest and it was a privilege to see the facilities.
