Father Jim Hobby
jhobby.trinity@gmail.com
Rector

Father Jim Hobby has been a follower of Jesus since 1970, a husband since 1980, a father since 1983 and a priest since 1986. He and his wife, Shari, have three daughters, Elizabeth, Katherine and Angela. He graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. in Christian Education, attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary for two years and received his M.Div. from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. Bishop Alden Hathaway ordained him as a deacon and later as a priest in 1986. He has served parishes in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Florida. Since 2009, Fr. Jim has been the Canon for Congregational Development in the Gulf Atlantic Dioces. He enjoys reading, teaching, and intense theological discussions. He runs regularly and participates in team sports whenever possible (what he lacks in skills he makes up for in intensity!). His greatest satisfaction, however, comes through relaxed time with his family.

Vicar

Mother Shari Hobby was born as the 6th of 8 kids to a Wycliffe Bible Translator missionary family in Guatemala. Mother Shari attended Wheaton College (IL) and Trinity School for Ministry (PA), and spent 14 years as a clergy spouse before being ordained by Bishop Stephen Jecko in 2000. Married to Father Jim Hobby in 1980, they love to work on "keeping a great thing going" in their marriage. Mother Shari is the mom of three daughters who are her delight, joy and amazement: Elizabeth Joy (married to Daniel Hooker, September 2007); Katherine Marie (married to Jonathan Folkert, July 2010); and Angela Grace (married to Jeremy Cronin, June 2011).  Katherine and Jonathan made she and Jim grandparents with the birth of Darren Timothy, May 2011, and Elizabeth and Daniel expect their first, November 2011.  Mother Shari likes listening to novels on tape (while out walking or doing housework), computer games, playing board games, being outside and being with family and friends.

Jannette Corkery
jcorkery.trinity@gmail.com
Music Minister

Jannette Corkery grew up everywhere and nowhere, being the daughter of an Army officer, and doesn’t remember a time that Jesus wasn’t a part of her life.  Attending the University of Miami on an R.O.T.C. scholarship, she received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in music and her commission as an officer in the Army Reserve.  She has lived in Tallahassee, Florida, for almost 20 years, so she figures that’s long enough to call it “home.”  After serving as music director in an Anglican church with the Hobbys, she then served in several Methodist churches in Tallahassee as both an organist and a contemporary worship leader.  She is thrilled to be back in an Anglican community.  Married to Terry for 14 wonderful years, she has three daughters:  Christin, an Air Force officer stationed in California, Kimi (age 9) and Kelly (age 7).
