Vestry Elections
As leaders of an Anglican congregation, Trinity expects the Vestry to be familiar with our foundational, historical documents. You can find the 39 Articles of Religion and the Chicago-Lambeth Quadralateral in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (along with the Chalcedonian definition of Christ's nature, the Athanasian Creed, and the Preface to the 1549 Prayerbook). The 1662 Book of Common Prayer is available here. In order to insure that we are walking together with a common understanding of the faith we ask each nominee to the Vestry to read and agree to the Jerusalem Declaration. We also expect the members of the Vestry to order thier lives according to a biblical pattern that is spelled out in our Partnership Covenant.
